Left yesterday and will miss them! Great counselors, mostly great techs and nurses, clean and nice accommodations, really good food. I was there with a few other like-minded clients that I bonded with and will hopefully keep in touch with. Yes, they take your cell, as does every detox, but there is a house phone available and you can sign up to call anyone you want. Thank you, ☀️ Sunrise 🌅!

I had a great 7 day stay at Sunrise. They met all my demands to make my stay comfortable. My intentions were met being here. Wonderful stay!

This place was absolutely wonderful compared to other centers. You are treated with dignity and respect which is crucial in overcoming addiction. I highly recommend this place. The rooms and beds are comfortable and clean. The food was decent, though I wasn't vey hungry. I can't say enough good things about the staff.

This is probably the best detox facility in Florida. The staff is amazing. Clean beautiful rooms. Alana, Beth, Allisa, and Dennis run it like champions. I felt safe, and left feeling a lot better. The food is great. Scratch made by Chef Jaime and he is awesome. Definitely helped save my life. If you or someone you know needs to detox I highly recommend you make Sunrise an option. Grateful.

I had a family member detox from opiates at Sunrise and it was a wonderful experience for him and for me. They made him comfortable and made the detox experience the best that they could. They were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help me with finding a treatment center for the next phase of my family members recovery. They were very in depth and intuitive as to the needs of the patient and what would be best for his recovery. I highly recommend this place.

I had a wonderful experience at Sunrise Detox Orlando. I went there to stop taking the pain Meds I was prescribed by a doctor for over 12 years. The whole entire staff was amazing!! I was detained there for 16 days due to hurricane Irma which was not something I wanted to do. Beth helped me through this period of time and helped me to see the way. If you as a person respect people and give them the chance they will respect you back. This ended up being a very positive time of my life. I am home now and 51 days clean! I want to thank all of the staff at Sunrise for being the most kind people and for all of your care and respect! I could not have done this without you all! I never will forget you all! The chefs here are amazing!! I can't believe I didn't gain 50 pounds, and the patience and respect you showed me I will never forget you! I only have 1 complaint, I don't even know where the blame goes? Dr. Shaun Barber prescribed me a cream from Aeva Specialty Pharmacy. The cream was fantastic for my joint and back pain! I paid $60 for this box of cream. When I left Sunrise I only received the 1 open bottle that shortly after ran out. The box it came in made me think there was more than one bottle in the package, I could be wrong. If anyone could look around the med room to see if that is true or false and get back to me would be great. I am in the process of ordering more. I will end by thanking the whole staff at Sunrise! I went there broken and very unhappy if it wasn't for your staff and all of their patience, compassion and respect I would not be 51 days clean! I will never forget any of you!

I am merily advocating on behalf of the facility to share insight and clarification. I research treatment centers and delve into the vital statistics of drug related hospital admissions and drug related deaths. Having my own experiences involving addiction, In an unbiased perspective, I feel the need to verify some key issues that are extremely relevant and mandatory. This center's core objective is to SUCCESSFULLY detox you and start on the path to your life that you have missed out on. Even being physically present, being under the influence of various substances, it is a FACT that your brain may tell yourself that you are functioning and cognitive, but this is also the same altered brain that controls your body by begging for your DOC. The rules that are made well aware of to you prior to entering treatment clearly explain center policy and rules to abide by. Please acknowledge that other patients may not be at the facility of their own free will. Some of these patients are angry, agitated, anxious and combative to receiving treatment. They undermine, conspire, and abuse the staff. The state of Florida had operated too long with multiple pill mill pain clinics. People from other states would come here to doctor shop and clinic hop. This went on for years until legislation approved to put a stop to these greedy physicians who truly seen patients for cash only office visits. The loss of life from overdoses sky rocketed. The ripple effect of this opioid epidemic can directly be attributed to crime rate increase and the destruction of happy families. The detox process is scary and stressful if you don't know what to expect. Your body and mind are not rational even though you may feel you are. This facility has one goal : to give you back your "old self"... the person who loved life and quality time with family and friends. The person who had deep interests and hobbies. The person who would never consider buying drugs off the street or for go getting groceries for drugs instead. The person who never thought about counting pills and robotic like focus on only your next score. You have made a decision to seek help. Chances are, you have made multiple mistakes since all this began. Paranoid thoughts are part of the detox process. Feeling like you are being judged picked on... It's not how you perceive it. Be patient with yourself and release all the bad memories and look further down the road to be the best you yet! Addiction Medicine is a complex science. This amazing facility is healing and repairing your brain receptors and other levels of hormones, depression induced by opiates, malnutrition... the list is long! If you don't succeed, it is the center's failure too! The rules are different now.. And it's temporary! Let them do their job and don't question or victimize yourself. Remember... Trust is earned. Focus on the long term... And choose not to fulfill treatment because you didn't like the rules. This center has talented and empathetic staff. Being stearn is not being rude. Commit to the time. Don't expect to be back to normal in a few days. You actually owe this opportunity to yourself and those who love you. You will be in the best hands! I applaud your work, Sunrise. I just got home today and this place is amazing . I understand people get annoyed w staff for obvious reasons, but if you are respectful to staff they do the same for you . Very cozy spot and be prepared to gain weight . Thank u sunrise and my new beginning
